Christmas isn't Christmas without traditional turkey fresh from the local farm or butcher's shop.

Our locally reared turkeys are hatched on the Wirral by Sally Hawkins, who is a second generation producer. We use 2 breeds, Wirral Bronze and Wirral Whites.

The Wirral Bronze grow slowly and take a long time to reach maturity, producing a bird that has lots of traditional flavour.

The Wirral Whites, a breed developed by Sally, is again slow growing and has a lot more flavour compared to other breeds.

 

 

 

 

Our turkeys are grown on Cheshire Farms in pole barns, with barley straw for bedding, plenty of fresh air and natural daylight. All our turkeys are reared to maturity to give a full flavour with moist and tender meat.

Under full veterinary supervision, the turkeys are processed in our modern processing facility, where great care is taken to ensure that the turkey will reach you in top quality condition.
